Registered Psychotherapists to support with Postpartum Depression, Anxiety and other Mental Health Challenges (PMAD's)

Prioritizing mental health is at the heart of what we do

Parenthood shifts your world in ways you never expected. And even with all its joy, it can also bring in a lot of complex and overwhelming emotions like guilt, shame, and anxiety.

At Anamav, we believe that protecting and supporting mental health is just as important as caring for your physical health. It is at the heart of everything we stand for and is, in fact, a big reason why Anamav was started.

Our founder, Nancy, learned firsthand how compassionate care during the pregnancy and postpartum periods can transform the experience of becoming a parent. Her journey showed us that a strong support system can help new and expectant mothers feel grounded and nurtured throughout their experience.

Our qualified team provides a safe, supportive space to prioritize your mental health, helping you navigate perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMAD’s), including:

  • postpartum anxiety
  • postpartum rage
  • postpartum depression
  • any of these during pregnancy
  • relationship challenges
  • and more.

Let us help you thrive as a parent and build a stronger foundation for your family!

Our Psychotherapists

We knew that to support our clients, we needed mental health professionals who really understood the specific mental health challenges that can occur during any stage of the parenthood journey.

All our therapists are registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) or the Ontario College of Social Workers (OCSW). They also all have additional training in perinatal mental health from well-established organizations (Postpartum Support International or Canadian Perinatal Mental Health Trainings).

We offer a variety of evidence-based therapies, tailoring our approach to meet your specific needs and circumstances. Our goal is to help you normalize your experiences, build self-compassion, and cultivate resilience.
