Certified & Trained Postpartum Doulas serving the Greater Toronto Area
They say it takes a village, and we’re here to be part of yours
A postpartum doula is like the extra pair of hands you didn’t know you needed. They’re there to support you and your baby in those early days, whether it’s helping with diaper changes, soothing your baby, or offering tips on infant care.
Doulas also handle light household chores and give you the space to rest, shower, or take a break when you need it (and trust us, you’ll need it).
You aren’t yourself when you aren’t sleeping – we know all too well. An overnight doula can help you get some much-needed rest. She can soothe your baby back to sleep, take care of diaper changes, bottlefeeding (if you choose), and more. Having a night doula may very well be the best gift you can give yourself (or others can give to you)!
Whether it’s during the day or overnight, a doula helps make the transition to parenthood a little easier so you can focus on bonding with your baby.

Our Doulas
Having a doula means welcoming someone into your home who provides care and support when you’re navigating one of the most vulnerable times of your life. We understand how crucial it is to have someone you trust during this transformative time. That’s why we’ve carefully selected a team of doulas who are not only highly trained but also deeply committed to supporting you with warmth, respect, and expertise.
All of our doulas are certified or in the process of being certified by well-established doula training institutions, are CPR certified, and have gone through background checks. You can rest assured that you are being supported by qualified, compassionate individuals no matter who you work with.
Our doulas bring a wealth of experience and passion for supporting families through every challenge and joy that comes with early parenthood. Whether it’s hands-on baby care, household help, or emotional support, they’re here to help as you embrace your new role.
They listen with empathy, offer thoughtful support, and create a calming presence, making sure you feel heard, cared for, and comfortable every step of the way.
Frequently Asked Questions About Working with a Postpartum Doula
A postpartum doula can be a lifesaver in the early days, offering support, comfort, and helpful guidance. From newborn care like feeding, diaper changes, and soothing, to light housekeeping, meal prep, and emotional support, we’re here to be an extra set of hands.
Whether you’re breastfeeding or bottle-feeding, your nighttime doula can bring your baby or pump to you, handle diaper changes, clean bottles, and soothe your baby back to sleep. This way, you can get the rest you need, which is crucial for your mental well-being.
If your doula can’t make it due to illness or any other reason, we’ll do our best to send another amazing doula from our team so you still get the support you need. Of course, you’re welcome to reschedule with your original doula if you prefer.
We totally get that things come up! Rescheduling will depend on your doula’s availability and how much notice you give us. We’ll do our best to accommodate, and if we can’t, we’ll help you find another solution.
We recommend booking a few months before your due date—doulas tend to get booked up quickly! But if you’re already past your due date and need support, don’t hesitate to reach out. We’ll do our best to help you or connect you with someone who can.
Typically, we offer support in the first 3 months postpartum, which is when new parents often need the most help. If you feel you need more support beyond that, we’d be happy to discuss your options!
While we wish we could say yes, it depends on your plan. You’ll have to check with your provider. We can provide any documentation you need to support your claim!
We know it can feel overwhelming! Start by having a chat with your partner or family to figure out your support needs during the first few months. Think about what will help most—baby care, cooking, cleaning, or maybe nighttime help. We can always discuss further during our consultation!
Hiring through an agency gives you peace of mind with multiple benefits: (1) backup support in case your doula is unavailable, (2) assurance that all team members are thoroughly vetted, (3) the ability to voice any concerns to the agency, (4) the option to book multiple services at once, and (5) access to a team of doulas for more flexibility and support.
